Cloud storage has become another hotcake in these twodays while Google has launched their own Google drive. Before launch of Google Drive yesterday, Microsoft has announced their cloud storage service Windows Skydrive by having more accessible Windows Skydrive App in many other platforms which includes Windows 7, Mac, Windows Phone, Android, iPhone and iPad. The skydrive is now works as an installed application in your PC or Mac instead of a web application.
Personally, I preferred to have installed application in my PC which I think it is more powerful comparing web application.
Right now, with your Skydrive installed in your PC, you can enjoy total 25GB free online storage [Google Drive only offer 5GB free storage] and sync al your docs up to the sky and get it from anywhere thru web browser. In WIndows 7, you can easily see your Windows Skydrive Folder in Favorite folder.
I tried many 3rd party storage machine which connects to Windows Skydrive and I think this is the best approach to connect to it as it is officially from Microsoft and you can report any bugs or feedback to them. I foresee Windows 8 will be the next platform to use Skydrive even more efficiently.
