New firmware update is available for Samsung Galaxy S3 i9300 international version in Singapore & Malaysia in these few days. The update is released for mainly Asia countries like Malaysia, Singapore & Vietnam. Sorry to tell that this update is NOT a Jelly Bean official update. It is an minor update which only contains 5MB of update. THe changes is minor and you may not really realize there is an update has been done on your SGS3. I’m still awaiting official Jelly Bean update which should be released in end of August 2012, another 2 weeks from now. While waiting Jelly Bean release, let’s do the quick firmware update today. Both update from OTA or Samsung Kies should be works for you.

Upgrade Samsung Galaxy S3 Firmware Via OTA

In case you do not know how to upgrade the firmware, below is the simple tutorial

1. Goto Settings –> About device

2. Goto Software update –> Check for updates

3. Make sure you have Wifi or 3G connection during upgrade.
