Asus Nexus 7 is well known with great quality and good price tablet. It is indeed low enough to own it with $199. However, Acer now proved that tablet price can be lower, lower than $199 Asus Nexus 7. The latest release model from Acer, Acer Iconia B1 priced at $150, $50 cheaper than Nexus 7 which is one of the lowest budget tablet ever in the market. The Iconia B1 features a 7-inch display with 1024 x 600 display, and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Mediatek processor along with 8GB of internal memory and 512MB of RAM. Only 0.3MP camera in the front  with no rear camera. Mediatek processor is not high end processor but Jelly Bean should able to help providing lag-free experience to users.

It is a very good option for those who plan to buy an budget tablet with mid-end specification. Nexus 7 will be a better choice for budget tablet if you can spend additional $50 for it.
