I was surprised when I received my Galaxy Grand Duos. I remembered clearly the device specification, and should have total 8GB internal storage. However, I just got it with 4GB internal size. I quickly question the retailer and finally found out it is NORMAL. This “issue” also happening to the lately released Samsung Galaxy S4. Nearly half of my internal storage in Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos is gone because of Samsung OS (operating System)

Taking screenshot is important to me as I would like to capture some important information or screenshot for sharing. I just love the simple method of taking screenshot on Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos I9082, or I should say take screenshots on Samsung devices as most of the Samsung devices use the same method to take the screenshot.

Recovery mode is another device mode that you need to know before you start modification on your device. In Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos recovery mode, you can perform some tasks like Apply update from ADB, apply update from external storage, wipe data/factore reset, wipe cache partition and apply update from cache. I love my Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos although it was not a high end device. It fulfill all my daily needs at least. It got a big 5 inch screen, although is was not as vivid as Super Amoled display. Yet, I feel it got a lot of potential to perform better, with custom modifications on the ROMs. Before we start to flash anything on Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos, we need to know little on the download mode or Odin mode.  (more…)

They are 12 features in the video, Smart Pause, Smart Scroll, Dual Video Call, Drama Shot, Eraser, Story Album, Group Play, WatchON , S Health and more. Plenty of them are really awesome. LG Optimus G, is start selling in Malaysia. It is way too late. LG Optimus G was released since last year in Korea to compete Samsung Galaxy S3. However, it was just landed in Malaysia yesterday. LG, no doubt is one of the potential company to build high quality android smartphone. LG, lately has become one of my flavor brand too, I got both LG optimus 4X HD and Optimus G (from Singapore).

The retail price of LG Optimus G is RM1599, decent price tag for a middle-high range smartphone. It empowered by qual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro, 2GB RAM, 4.7inch screen display, NFC, LTE, non-removable 2100mAh battery. It runs Android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich out of the box. Stock jelly bean is already available for download and upgrade. 

Price and availability is unknown but we expect to see the device by end of this month in Malaysia.

As we know, all the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS will not support flash player. Flash player is still one of the frequently use software for some websites. It is just annoying if you are not able to access flash website on your Jelly Bean device. An official firmware update is available for Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos I9082. It was minor upgrade to improve the performance of Galaxy Grand Duos. You may either receive and update software update notifications directly from the device (with WiFi connection) or upgrade it via Samsung Kies. It is recommended to upgrade with Samsung Kies, Samsung USB driver for Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos I9082 is needed, download it here and start the upgrade.
