Having a strong battery life on a smartphone is extremely important. Without battery, your smartphone is useless. I have been using Samsung Galaxy S3 for about 2 weeks. Let me share my experience before sharing how to save your battery life on Samsung Galaxy S3. Above is my battery performance report of today. Averagely, I can get 15 – 20 hours battery life for normal daily usage like reading news, listen to music, surf net, phone call, send & receive email, SMSs but NO gaming. I turned on the 3G network all the time without turning it off. From the report, obviously, the battery consumed by the 3G which always in standby mode.

Samsung Galaxy S3 come with very good feature where you can change to some beautiful font on all writing without need to root your device. This is additional feature to users though not to root their SGS3 for font customization. This is not a stock feature in ICS firmware but only available for Galaxy S3. Besides that, you can even download different font officially & legally from Google Play Store into your Galaxy S3 for greater font customization.

I admitted that there were a lot of third party android apps are very useful and powerful which actually was not available in Google Play Store due to region restriction. In direct, you can’t see some of the applications appear in your Google Play Store if the app is only available for other countries like US only. Well, there is still a way to install them if you able to find the apk files from “somewhere”. I suggest you find the apk files from internet “somewhere”.

Samsung Galaxy S3 come with no battery percentage display on the notification menu. You are not able to know how many percent your battery left. In old day, installing android app to show the level of battery in notification is easy and simple in Android 2.2 and above. The battery level display is built-in featured in Samsung Galaxy S3 stock ROM. You can simply enable the battery level in notification menu without installing any app. How to do that? Sorry to tell that I do not like the stock predictive keyboard from Samsung Galaxy S3 as it is annoying and make more mistake to my words and I need more time to correct it. I prefer to original android 4.0 stock keyboard which actually work better for me. If you do not like it too and wish to remove this feature, you can follow steps before to disable/enable it on your Samsung Galaxy S3.
