Mobile Choice Consumer Awards 2012 was held in London and Samsung Galaxy S3 has been awarded as the best smartphone in the year of 2012. The new iPad 3 was awarded as the best tablet in 2012. In the best smartphone award, we do not see iPhone 5 or Nokia Lumia 920 appear on the list as it was not included in the competition. However, iPhone 4S won the second position and HTC One X won the 3rd place. The result might changed in the full picture if both Nokia Lumia 920 and iPhone 5 are listed in the competition.

iTunes is the classic file transfer manager for iPad definitely. It is also the only choice you can mange your files with iTunes if your iPad wasn’t jailbroken. I’ve written a post on tutorial how to synchronize your new ipad 3 to iTunes Library and versa vice with the USB cable. Today I wanted to make it even more simpler where you can transfer & synchronize your iPad app, music, photos, files to iTunes Library wirelessly without any cable. By doing that, you can have the instant update on both sides of your new iPad as well as iTunes Library. If you have downloaded or purchased app in the desktop iTunes App, the app will be automatically install in your iPad. This make everything updated at the same moment without any lagging off. First of all, I wanted to clarify that this is the tutorial to guide you how to synchronize your installed iPad applications into your PC/Mac iTunes library but not the other way round. That is 2 ways of synchronization you can be made with your iPad and PC/Mac iTunes library. By default, if you connect your iPad to PC/Mac, iTunes will be launched and you can do any synchronization you wish. However, when you click the Sync button, the iTunes library applications will be sync into your iPad. Your previous downloaded and installed applications on the iPad itself will be gone.

Many of IOS user do not like the hardware home button on their iOS devices like iPhone or iPad. The reason behind is to avoid damage on the hardware home button. It is costly to replace the hardware home button as all the original part will need to be imported from the manufacturer. The physical damage on the button could be caused by several reasons like improper handling when pressing, overstress on pushing the button, too frequent using the button and so on. Hence, most of the users (surveyed from my group of friends) are not using the home button. They prefer to have a virtual software home button to replace the hardware home button. How can we do it??

[Updated Working Link] Finally, I found a way to watch the latest updated TVB Hong Kong series drama on my new iPad 3. I received requests from many readers for the solution to watch HK drama on iPad with PPStream. Sorry to tell that it was still no solution yet on PPStream but you can watch it with Qvod Player. I have tested to watch some episode on my iPad by streaming thru Qvod player. It is smooth and easy. I got my new iPad 3 jailbroken. Jailbroken doesn’t mean you have a better device but you have favors to customize your UI and tweakings on your iOS devices. The purpose to have Installous installed in your iOS devices is to let you easily installed any of the ipa files [just like what you see apk file in android] into your iOS devices. Installing an ipa file into your iOS device without using iTunes is actually violating Apple iTunes law but it is handy for developer and user to install 3rd party ipa applications.

I love my new iPad and i believe it could do more than what i know for now. In order to understand more on the iPad, doing research online is a must. In basic, i have read completely the user guide of iPad for IOS5.1. It is useful to know your hardware capability with the software update.
