I’m still in the midst of having thorough testing on my Sony Xperia Z either hardware or software performance. In hardware performance wise, Sony Xperia Z is empowered by 1.5GHz quad core Snapdragon S4 pro processor and 2GB RAM. Snapdragon S4 Pro processor has made Sony Xperia Z become a superphone with the quad core high performance as well as the buttery smooth Android Jelly Bean. Some benchmark results has been captured by me and it comes with very promising results. The below benchmark results is ran with well known benchmark app, Antutu and Quadrant.

Thanks God. My Sony Xperia Z is now available with me. Sony Xperia Z has been just released not long ago and the anti-dust and water-proof features tempted me to buy it. At last, I got it on hands after a big hole on my wallet. Anyway, it is very exciting to own this latest gadget which is one of the hottest 5″ Full HD 1920 x1080 resolution in market now. I got myself a Sony Xperia Z C6603 4G LTE version. It is pre-installed with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. The performance of Xperia Z is incredible awesome. It is a very solid device, you can feel it when you hold it on hand. Besides the device, I got a free gift with purchase, a bluetooth/NFC speaker which i have no idea how to use yet =) Benchmark will be posted soon. Xperia launcher is now available for download unofficially for all Ice cream sandwich (ICS) and jelly bean android devices. The Sony Xperia launcher was successfully run on any android devices other than Sony Xperia devices normally. I love Xperia launcher as of its fast response and quick uninstallation feature on the launcher. This Xperia launcher is identical to the stock Sony Xperia devices with all the features included. Customization desktop and app drawer is possible too with this launcher. Big thanks to ra3al who posted the port to Xda. The installation is simple enough with apk format. You do not need to flash it through recovery.

Don’t be surprise. Yes, it is HD2. It is Jelly Bean. It is 4.2 Jelly Bean. HTC HD2 is a long live smartphone device starting from Windows Mobile, to android, to windows phone, to meego and more OS. HD2 is finally tasted the latest and most updated Android OS, Jelly Bean 4.2 modded by CynongenMod team. This is the alpha CM build where some features are not working, like Wifi. Nexus 7 has been a big success for both Google and Asus on tablet market. We start seeing iPad share market dropped with the rise of Android tablet to the market. Android tablet start seeing the sight of rising after release of Nexus 7, Amazon Kindle Fire as well as Samsung Galaxy series tablet. $199 Nexus 7 is a powerful tablet with affordable retail price. Now, Asus is planning even more cheaper 7 inch tablet named “ME172V” and we believe it could be the next generation of Nexus 7. According to the GLBenchmark  leaked information, it shall equipped with 7-inch display 1024 x 600 resolution, 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage, with external microSD card slot and a 4270mAh battery.

Guys, I think many of the Samsung Galaxy S3 users are looking for ways how to downgrade Samsung Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean back to ICS Ice Cream Sandwich Stock firmware. Why do you need to downgrade Jelly Bean? Obviously, the overall performance of Jelly Bean Stock ROM on Samsung Galaxy S3 is disappointing, very disappointing. Delay, lag, force close happening very often after JB upgrade. I’m pretty sure you agree on what I say if you are S3 international users.

Hurray, finally, HTC start rolling out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for HTC One X. The OTA update is available for international HTC One X, starting from today. The 365MB Jelly Bean update will bring you the new HTC Sense 4+. As usual, the upgrade from Ice cream sandwich to Jelly Bean will definitely bring you higher and smoother performance on HTC One X. Besides that, it claimed to have better battery life, new gallery with Event and map view, Google Now and improved with expandable notification menu bar. If you own HTC One X, check your OTA update now! I hope the Jelly Bean on HTC One X shall not disappoint you..

Galaxy S3 Jelly bean Android 4.1.1 is a disappointment in term of release schedule and the JB performance, to me. We hope the next Jelly Bean Android 4.1.2 update will be far better than what we got lately after a long long wait. The Android JB 4.1.2 firmware for Galaxy S3 was leaked out which brings Galaxy Note 2 goodies to SGS3. Samsung has declared that they are preparing firmware upgrade for SGS3 to Android 4.1.2 which could be rolling out by December. The leaked firmware is still under testing and not official. Test it on your own risk!!

I asked around many of my friends who are using the Galaxy S3 who had recently updated their S3 to Jelly Bean. Many of them having same issue as mine. Freezing, delay, laggy after upgraded to official Jelly Bean on their S3.  It should be a great news to have Jelly Bean running on S3. In fact, the great news brought problems and problems behind it. The jelly bean ROM getting lagging and instant delay. It happened randomly and restart doesn’t help at all. To be frank, the “faster” Jelly Bean on Galaxy S3 is poorer in overall performance, comparing ICS. It doesn’t fit the fact of smoother and faster as what Google claimed.

Multi Windows in exclusive feature on Galaxy Note 2. It wont be surprise the multi windows will be updated to Galaxy S3. Yes, it did. The video below was spotted on Japan version Samsung Galaxy S3 with multi windows feature functionality. The split screen feature is still working great and cool in the smaller 4.8 screen comparing to 5.5inch screen on Note 2. SamMobile reported that multi windows feature will be updated in the next android 4.1.2 update on Galaxy S3. After a long wait to get official Jelly Bean 4.1.1 update, let’s pray together to await the next update come to Galaxy S3 very soon.
