Samsung Galaxy S2 has been updated to ICS more than a month officially. After XWLP 8 firmware release, here is the update of XWLP9 firmware with latest stock ROM for Galaxy S2. This stock ROM can be flash via Odin. Since this is a stock ROM, so the ROM is not rooted and this stock ROM is only available for international version of Galaxy S2 GT-I9100. Please take note & check your Galaxy S2 vrsion before flashing.

Hurray, finally the official Andorid 4.0.3 Ice cream sandwich has landed on Samsung Galaxy S2 today. The official ICS will be rolling out to SG2 users in Korea and Europe and following by all other countries. You may need to wait the ATO update for few more days or weeks. Why don’t try to update it manually. You can use Samsung’s PC Software Kies to update your ROM manually. You may have tried several custom ICS ROM on SG2 but this is OFFIICIAL ROM and should have minimal bugs. Let’s see how we can do it.

Great news follow by great news again. HTC has just announced some devices to receive HTC ICS Android 4 official OTA update, now the best phone of 2011 Samsung Galaxy S2 will also receive the official ICS update from Samsung thru OTA or Samsung Kies PC client. The update will be available starting from 1st March 2012 gradually thru OTA. The official ICS will come together with Samsung TouchWiz. There were alot of leaked or custom ROM are using ICS TouchWiz but it may not as stable as the stock ROM. You may interested to see some ICS custom ROM for Samsung Galaxy S2 here.

Finally, Maxis has released the price and plan on Samsung Galaxy SII. I received RIO email from Maxis on the latest update of Samsung Galaxy S2. Maxis is offering a special price RM799 to the first 300 customers at the Maxis Samsung Galaxy SII launch event. The first 300 customers will need to purchase at least 3GB data plan on 24 month contract. The launch event date is 22 June 2011, 3pm to 10pm, Venue is Centre Court, Mid Valley Megamall. If you are not in KL, sorry to say that you have to pay a little bit more to get your lovely Galaxy SII, RM200 rebate offering still available on 500MB, 1.5GB & 3GB 24 months data plan from 22 June to 22 July 2011. You can get a decent price from any of the maxis center below.

Just written a post to share the HTC Sensation promotion, right now come another good news for Malaysian, interest registration is now open for Samsung Galaxy S2 in Malaysia with Maxis. Both HTC Sensation and Samsung Galaxy S2 having very similar specification, Galaxy S2 has dual core 1.2GHz ARM Cortex A9 Processor ,4.3 inch Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors and 8 Megapixel camera. Both powered by Google Android Gingerbread OS. HTC Sensation is priced at RM2299, but there is no retail price yet for Galaxy S2 from Maxis yet. SamsungMobile has released the 3rd Samsung Galaxy S II commercial. Seems like Samsung Galaxy S II is going to officially released and sell in the market very very soon. The interesting part of all 3 commercial is Samsung is hotly promoting their new voice talk feature which embedded in the latest Samsung Galaxy S II. Personally, I tried the Google Voice Search from my Google Nexus S. The accuracy of searching words is not what I expected, it takes me longer time to correct the typing. So, what do you think about the voice talk feature? Is it really beneficial to you? Or it mess you up more?

Samsung has released 2nd commercial of Samsung Galaxy S II which come with dual core 1.2GHz ARM Cortex A9 Processor and a very attractive 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors!!
