Windows Essentials 2012 has been released by Microsoft with the new Windows Movie Maker and Photo Gallery in Windows 7 and Windows 8. The release of Windows Essentials 2012 is to welcome the coming of Windows 8 in October 2012. Windows Essential 2012 include Windows Live Mail, Windows Live Messenger, Windows Live Writer, Outlook Connector Pack, Windows Photo Gallery, Windows Movie Maker, Windows Live Family Safety and the new Windows Skydrive app for Windows. Windows Essentials 2012 work well in both Windows 8 and Windows 7. As usual, the Windows Essentials can be installed separately by selecting the application you wish to install or install in bundle. I just upgraded my WIndows from Windows Home Premium x86bit to Windows Ultimate x64bt. I still remain my Windows 8 in other drive partition. I do not use Windows 8 as main OS as of its instability and lack of support in this moment. Windows 8 is mainly focus on touch screen tablet user which I think it is still NOT optimized for both normal desktop and tablet users. When I have completed installation, the default boot timeout has changed back to 30 seconds (I used to have 5 sec with Windows 8). 30 sec is too long and wasting time for me to load into windows 7. Here you go I share with you how to set your default boot timeout duration to shorted or the figure you need.

Oh my god, I experienced several Windows reboot today and i think the reason is I have installed the wireless adaptor driver on my Windows 7 & 8 with the wireless adaptor hardware. Well, it could be one of the reason. Anyhow, I’m still doing some verification steps on my Windows PC. Program crashing is common in Windows but blue screen is kind of serious hardware error which Windows cannot recover in short time and cause the CRITICAL SYSTEM FAILURE. Let’s see what we can check and fix the problem ^^

I would like to do some upgrade on my PC, so it can run faster and perform better. Before I purchase any additional hardware, firstly i must understand what i have now in my PC. Due to operating system limitation of Windows 7, some of your hardware in PC may not optimize to the maximum where that is such a waste. For example, Windows 7 32 bit OS ONLY support RAM up to 3GB, it you have 4GB RAM in your PC but with Windows 7 32 bit, then you have wasted 1GB of your resources. A beginning of 2012, you should have a new look with your PC windows 7. Changing wallpaper is not really big change but if you install the new windows 8 transformation pack 2.0, you will see complete change on your windows 7. The new pack is awesome and cool indeed. In the transformation pack, you can see the new interface – metro UI . You can select all your preferable features during installation. I would say you will see the completely new look on your Windows “7” but there are not 100% working smooth and fine especially if you need to uninstall it. Tons of error maybe happen after uninstallation. Try on your own risk!!! Have a good try…

WIndows 8? Not release yet. However, you can make a fresh look on your windows 7 with hameddanger’s Windows 8 Skin pack. The skin pack come with x86(32bit) and x64, 2 version. Seems like every milestone of Windows Build was also leaked to net market, is it an intendedly leaked? I have no idea ^^ Anyway, the M3 Windows 8 Enterprise leaked build 7959 is available to download in torrent market. This build will include some leaked features like Ribbon UI, TaskUI, Modern Reader, Full DWM, Immersive Browser and etc. If you wish to have a early understanding on Windows 8, you may download and try it.

Windows 8 leaked version is spreading everywhere and everyone knows that Windows 8 will not be available right now until 2012. However, all the new features & new UI in the leaked Windows 8 are extremely attractive, looking forward to purchase Windows 8 in the coming year by upgrading my Windows 7.
